To all citizens of the Town of Bowdoin, Maine. Please be aware that multiple 2021 tax bills were sent out to all citizens. This was due to an error in the calculations. To this end, the correct bill would be the second bill received which should have a post mark date from the week ending on 07/23/2021.

Any citizens who have paid their 2021 first half property taxes may be eligible to apply any over-paid amounts to their second half payment. If a full years payment was made, you may be eligible for a refund of any over-paid amount. Please contact the Town Office during regular business hours to discuss which option would apply to your situation.

Should you have any questions regarding late payment and/or non-payment due to receiving multiple bills, please contact the Town Office immediately to discuss your payment to avoid interest charges.
